Musical Culture of the European Union: An Instrumental Tour

Exhibition-tour providing to our "travellers" a little of the musical and instrumental diversity of the European Union. The chosen ambassadors were the instruments in a selection that was not meant to exhaustive or definitive, but where it was possible to find common musical roots.

A blog was created as to interact with the visitors where videos and/or musical excerpts of the instruments were possible to be seen. The visitors were encouraged to make their own catalogue in an offered paste where they could put leaflets about each of the countries. Parallel to the exhibition there were several activities promoting the music of the 27 countries.

This exhibition was a way of participating in the Portuguese Presidence, the Museum benefited therefore with much support.
