Liszt em Lisboa
14 November 1995 - 24 January 1996Â Exhibition focusing on the figure of the Hungarian composer, Franz Liszt, with the aim of marking the 150th anniversary of his visit to Lisbon. The exhibition sought to portray an event that dazzled Portuguese society in the middle of the nineteenth century. Almost a hundred items were on display, including instruments, documents and iconography representative of the life and work of the composer, and the atmosphere that surrounded his stay in Lisbon between 15 January and 25 February 1845.
